The Renault Kerax is a truck which has been introduced by Renault in 1997. It’s main uses are on construction sites, but because of its versatility, the Kerax is also used for military purposes.
Because the typical working environment of the Kerax demands a lot from a truck, it is built with tough and durable materials. To make sure the Kerax stays mobile on rough terrain, it has a high clearance and maneuverability. To support the high load it has to carry, the Kerax also has reinforced axles.
The Kerax has been equipped with many different engines, with the most powerful containing 460 HP and adhering to Euro 5 norms. These engines have been developed to release their torque at the ideal moment, contributing to optimal mobility.

Since the launch of this product it has undergone some small adjustments and therefor in the 30 years the Renault Kerax exists there are many types available for you to buy. In fact the Kerax is a construction version of the Renault Premium.

Think about the Volvo FMX. The Volvo FMX is derived from the Kerax, the same chassis and technology, the same Volvo engines, only the Volvo has its own cabin, the Kerax shares it with the Premium.
