Big advantages of the MAN TGS are the lightweight construction which makes sure the truck can apply its power in a very efficient way. This results in lower stress for the engine, which again results in lower fuel usage. The low weight of the TGS itself makes sure the payload is even higher.
The MAN TGS can be equipped with the optional MAN TipMatic transmission. With this transmission, it’s possible to shift fully automatic as well as manually. This takes some work out of the drivers hands, and gives him the space to fully focus on the traffic. Next to that, the efficiency of TipMatic enables lower fuel usage, and less power-train wear.
